Carlos Ortega Arias-Paz
Mr. Ortega Arias Paz, of Spanish nationality, has served as chairman of the Acerinox Board of Directors since 2022.
He holds a degree in economics (cum laude) from Harvard University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School. In 2017, he joined Corporación Financiera Alba, S.A. as director of strategy, where he leads the company’s international strategy and manages investments in Spain.
He is currently the general director of Corporación Financiera Alba and chairman of Deyá Capital IV SCR, S.A. Furthermore, he is a member of the board of directors of Rioja, S.à.r.l., Verisure Topholding AB, KKR Apple Holdings Corporation, and the Harvard Club of Spain.
He is also a Trustee of the Elcano Institute and a Trustee of the United States-Spain Council Foundation.
He was previously a consultant with McKinsey & Company and has more than 23 years of experience in international investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank in New York, London, and Madrid. He has also served as chairman of Artá Partners, S.A. and as a board director of Artá Capital SGEIC, S.A.
