VDM Metals
The seven production centres (five in Germany and two in the US) combine the manufacture of high performance alloy products and solutions with a strong value added and a high R&D&I component, making it world leader in its sector.
The five plants in Germany have melting shops with electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces, vacuum ladle furnaces, and electroslag and arc remelt furnaces. These factories also have a forge for the production of thick bars and a powder manufacturing facility. The two plants located in the US have melting shops with vacuum induction melting furnaces and electroslag and arc remelt furnaces.
