Roldan
Located in the Spanish town of Ponferrada (Province of León), Roldán manufactures the widest range of long stainless steel products: bars, wire rod, angles, hexagonal bars and reinforcement bars.
An ambitious investment plan recently took place at the plant to reduce its energy consumption and adapt its facilities to current market demands and merge two hot rolling mills into one. The Roldan production centre now uses a single preheating furnace, giving rise to significant energy savings and CO2 emission reductions, among other improvements.
